,Di Platts says:I was struggling with the homophone 31-35, then the penny dropped! That's the great thing about this puzzle...a real sense of achievement when each hurdle is cleared. I've almost finished, but am puzzled (!) by the part of speech implied by the answer to 35(c), and also the apparent appearance of the same word twice. Anyone else?

,Di Platts says:In my copy 2c has 8 letters only, Mary and Emma. In my Chambers both spellings of 36a are acceptable, and anyway there are only 7 letters, so I don't see how both could fit in.As for 33b etc I don't see the problem, Mark.
